Furniture care instructions

GENERAL

Most of our products are designed for indoor and outdoor covered spaces. It is always advisable to store them in the shade or store them with covers when not in use. Covers are available for all our furniture.

FRAMES

Most of our chairs are made out of steel frames with powder coated painting to give greater resistance in outdoor environments. Although our products are durable, the life of the finish of the structures will depend on the environmental conditions present where they are used. The steel frames can be used indoors and should not remain in the rain for very long periods. After being exposed to rain and dust, the framework should be wiped dry to reduce the possibility of rust. In case of bumps or scratches, we recommend applying anti-corrosion paint of a similar color to the affected area.

WEAVES

Our chairs are woven in a wide range of patterns and materials, each one with unique characteristics, which makes it necessary to take care according to its origin.

PVC ROPES

The synthetic cord fabric is recommended for indoor and outdoor covered. To extend the life of the product we recommend protecting them from the sun using our covers or keeping it in the shade when not in use. The cleaning of the fabric can be done with a damp cloth, the application of silicone with UV protection type Simoniz UV3 is recommended. In the event that dust is trapped between the fabric, it is recommended to carry out a deep cleaning using a high-pressure cleaner. Chairs should be cleaned using water with a clean cloth or light brush. Be careful not to wash with glass cleaner, thiner or other abrasives. This will cause the diminishment of the UV protection.

 RATAN/MIMBRE/WICKER

Our wicker finishes are treated with transparent varnish to give them greater resistance to exteriors. Wicker is recommended for interiors, it can’t be used outdoor. Wicker cannot tolerate any liquid. Dry any spills immediately!

Protection against UV rays should be the highest possible. Cleaning should be done with a dry cloth.

GUINEO AND CIENAGUERO CORD/BANANA LEAFS

Guineo fiber and Cienaguero cord are fiber with good mechanical resistance, however due to its characteristics it is recommended only for indoor use. Cleaning should be done with a dry cloth. Guineo cannot tolerate any liquid. Dry any spills immediately!

WOOD

Solid wood is a living material that will always be affected by light, temperature and humidity conditions. Regular maintenance increases the natural durability of the wood, we recommend occasionally using Refresh Eco by Rubio Monocoat to preserve and protect the wood.

STACKING

One of the key aspects of our products is their functionality, beyond traditional techniques we seek that our products are total design pieces. Some of our pieces are designed to be stacked, it is important that this process is carried out correctly and with caution to avoid damage to the fabric and paint.

Stacking models must be stacked with care to avoid scratching.
