On numerous journeys across the world, but also in our daily lives we’ve encountered many people with different backgrounds that inspired our worldviews and perception of life. Elements of these foreign and local cultures are being melted together and allow us to define ourselves as citizens of the world. This results in Louisatown, a unique universe where we can share this inspiration and a way of living with all our visitors.
Louisatown is a place of brands, of hospitality, of style and of innovation. A place for designers, artists and their audience, fans, … We foster artistic exploration and inspiration through art, craft, and design from around the world.
The house is a former family-owned industrial atelier that we turned into a contemporary family business.
We carefully restored the building, maintaining the history by preserving old elements like stained glass doors and -domes, the director’s glass office and cabinet but transformed it into a modern spacious place filled with stories and contemporary design and art.
The result: a gallery, showroom, eventspace, creative residency and experiential guesthouse all under one roof. A place to relax, meet, collaborate, create and discover, inspire and get inspired.

Design guest house
The guest house is decorated with the designs and art of our brands. It’s blurring the lines between environment and experience, style and lifestyle, past and present. From the beauty products in the bathroom to the art on the walls, every unforgettable detail of our home is designed to become part of yours.
Included in the guest house is a separate living, dining and sleeping area and a fully equipped private bathroom. Outside we have a communal patio with a wood-burning stove which doubles as a pizza oven.
In the dining room you will find basic kitchen essentials (tea kettle, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, small fridge and table ware) and we serve you our own favourite breakfast (homemade granola, yogurt, acai, fresh, seasonal fruit and coffee and tea). In our tiny shop you can buy some special local products for mind and body (local beer, natural wines, middle eastern ice cream, beauty products of Ray) and a curated selection of small home accessories we love to take a little part of Omarcity back home.
In the living room you will find books and music to relax and to take you with us on our journey. You will also find the stories behind the designs and art that we represent on our platform “Omarcity”.

The space showcases internationally renowned designers of Omarcity, a platform for designers and brands from less obvious, creative cities all around the world. We enable collaborations between creative minds involving passionate people in the field of cooking, art and design.
Come and discover the design, art, products and projects from our designers. Each of our brands has a beautiful and strong story that’s worth discovering. We offer private shopping and interior advice and most of our designers can work custom made. Other major designers and brands like Muller Van Severen, Valerie Objects, Weltevree and some good local craftsmen strengthen our team to add some personality to your home.
Entering the warehouse on the first floor you will find this multi-functional space which we also make available for external events. This 110m² area lives and breathes the spirit and history of the house. Design should always be in the spotlight which is why we provide a warm and tasteful, basic composition of long black tables with black pottery, wooden ceilings, white brick walls and a special lighting design that helps to create the right atmosphere.
