The work of FELIPA ALMEIDA is the research she does about objects, material culture, traditions and history of art and crafts transposing them into tailor-made projects that celebrate Portuguese culture.

Felipa does curatorial work, art direction, vintage handicrafts collections and commission pieces by artists and artisans through close collaborations.

Twice a year she organize pop-ups in her studio in Lisbon where she challenges artists to create works inspired by a specific theme.

She studied Art History, Curatorial Studies, and History of Design, with a passage on Anthropology.

All these influences are present in the work made in her creative studio in Lisbon, surrounded by books and objects she fell in love with over the last years.

Omarcity and Felipa work together to bring a selection of beautiful unique ceramic pieces from Portuguese designers, artists and craftsmen. To us Felipa is not only a curator but she is a designer of magical atmospheres and settings. By defining themes, being a bridge between tradition and modernity, a translator and a historical researcher she finds unique pieces that are very rare.

Bringing together artists and craftsmen and adding value through art and beauty is at the heart of each art direction project, highlighting the history, culture and traditions of its territory.
