Emma Terweduwe creates textile pieces that are luxurious and expressive, combining natural and durable materials, strong and colourful graphic design, and her unique process of felting woven fabrics.
By making textiles that are meant to stimulate our sense of touch, Terweduwe’s tactile works offer a critique on our fast-paced and superficial society, which increasingly values appearance over substance.

In these plaids Emma explores her signature style of bold and vivid graphic patterns, transformed into tangible textures and textile pieces. ‘Beyond Bold’ presents a new series of jacquard woven blankets and pillows, each expressing a different kind of tactility and feeling. 

Made from a soft mix of wool, cotton and mohair and jacquard woven with care in Belgium. Each piece is finished by hand with the crochet technique, which adds playful details in colour and texture, so each piece becomes a unique and exclusive plaid.

All the textiles are reversible as you can equally enjoy both sides.
