The Pantographic Bench is a foldable, sculptural seating piece designed by Portuguese-Brazilian designer Miguel Saboya. We’re in love with the end result—functional, yet full of playful elegance. Crafted from mahogany wood, the bench pays subtle homage to Miguel’s Brazilian roots. Its rich, dark tone adds a touch of timeless sophistication.

We first met Miguel during our stay in Portugal—and we think you should meet him too. What draws us to his work is the way he fuses clean, functional design with warmth, character, and a distinct sense of individuality.

The Pantographic Bench is available in two editions: Cherry and Standard.

Cherry Edition

Upholstered in Équipage Cerise, a special outdoor fabric from renowned French textile house Métaphores. Inspired by ship deck ropes, this fabric features a bold striped pattern in earthy leather, graphite, and navy tones. Its dense, robust texture evokes the spirit of the sea—ports, tides, and open water—making it ideal for marine or adventure-inspired interiors. The architectural visual appeal of Équipage brings both durability and drama.

Standard Edition

Features an elegant combination of sapele and linen, offering a more understated, natural look while maintaining the bench’s refined silhouette.
